Evan Engram came to the Jacksonville Jaguars a season ago with the opportunity at a rebirth, a fresh start.
His Jaguars' debut? 73 receptions for 766 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games in 2022-23.
The encore? Meeting and surpassing 100 receptions in a single season, which he achieved in Jacksonville's final home game of the regular season, a match-up with the Carolina Panthers.
With 100 or more receptions in a season as a tight end, Engram becomes just the eighth right end in National Football League (NFL) to rise to such a feat.
Engram joins Lionel Taylor who had 100 receptions for rhe Denver Broncos in 1961, Tony Gonzalez who had 102 receptions for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004, Dallas Clark who had 100 receptions for the Indianapolis Colts in 2009, Jason Witter who had 110 receptions for the Dallas Cowboys in 2012, Zach Ertz who had 116 receptions for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018, Darren Waller who had 107 receptions for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020, Mark Andrew's who had 107 receptions for the Baltimore Ravens in 2021, and Travis Kelce who had 103 receptions in 2018, 105 in 2020, and 110 in 2022, all as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.
