I can confirm from my sources that Holy Cross Crusaders Head Coach Bob Chesney was on campus all weekend, following the recent holiday, visiting Syracuse University.
Syracuse University Director of Athletics John Wildhack had stated that he wanted someone who had northeast ties and head-coaching experience, so having Chesney on campus, who has been a head coach at three spots and spent his entire coaching career in the northeast, makes sense.
With Dan Mullen officially out of the running, Chesney's name continues to grow especially with his time spent on the Orange campus.
