The Le Moyne Dolphins Volleyball program has a new leader in Fiona Cunningham.

Cunningham was previously with the East Carolina Pirates volleyball program as an assistant coach in August of 2024.

Prior to East Carolina, she spent one season as an assistant coach at North Carolina Central University.

Cunningham was also the head volleyball coach at Cedar Ridge High School starting in 2019 and was named the NCHSAA 2021-22 NFHS (National Federation of State High School Association) State Coach of the Year following leading the Red Wolves to a 3A state volleyball championship in a season where Cedar Ridge won 31 matches.

While at Cedar Ridge, Cunningham also won two conference championships and was named Central Carolina Conference Coach of the Year twice.

She has also had experience at Triangle Volleyball Club, Wofford College, Chapel Hill High School, East Coast Volleyball Academy, Union Middle School, and Biltmore Volleyball Academy.

Cunningham played on the volleyball team and graduated from UNC Asheville with a Bachelor of Science degree in health and wellness promotion back in 2017.
