The LeMoyne Dolphins Men's Basketball team will compete in 14 non-conference games for their 2023-24 campaign, their first season as an NCAA Division 1 program.
Four of these games will be played at home on Ted Grant Court in Syracuse, New York, and 10 will be on the road.
The Dolphins waste no time by choosing to swim in the deep waters of the Big East Conference, taking on Georgetown University on Tuesday, November 7, and Villanova University on Friday, November 10, to start the season.
On Monday, November 13, the Dolphins will host the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton for LeMoyne Men's Basketball's first-ever game on their home court as an NCAA Division 1 team; the game will be counted as an exhibition for the Kangaroos.
A four-game road trip to the west coast will follow, with LeMoyne facing the University
of San Diego on Friday, November 17, then taking on UC Santa Barbara, the reigning Big West Champion who advanced to last season's NCAA Division 1 Tournament, on Sunday, November 19.
The last two games that the Dolphins will play in the state of California this season are part of the Pacific MTE (Multi-Team Event) , with the first game tipping off on Tuesday, November 21, against California State University Northridge (CSUN) and the final game happening on Friday, November 24, at the University of the Pacific.
LeMoyne will return home for a match-up versus Fredonia on Wednesday, November 29, which will count as an exhibition for the Blue Devils.
Like November, December play will begin on the road, with the Dolphins taking on the Black Knights of Army West Point on Tuesday, December 5. LeMoyne comes into the contest with a 1-0 against Army, defeating the Black Knights in their lone other match-up which occurred during the 1988-89 season.
The "Battle of I-81" begins on Saturday, December 9 when the Dolphins travel about an hour south of Syracuse, New York, to face the Bearcats of Binghamton University. LeMoyne is 3-2 all-time versus Binghamton.
Dartmouth University will serve as the first NCAA Division 1 opponent to ever face LeMoyne on Ted Grant Court when they come to town on Saturday, December 16.
Houghton University will be the final non-conference home opponent for the Dolphins, when the Highlanders lace up their sneakers for a Monday, December 18, match-up.
Later that week, LeMoyne will travel to University Park, Pennsylvania, for a non-conference contest with the Penn State University Nittany Lions.
The Dolphins overall final non-conference game of their inaugural season in NCAA Division 1 will occur on the road at Fairfield University on Saturday, December 30. LeMoyne will enter this game with a 4-0 all-time record against the Stags, including going 3-0 at Fairfield.
