LeMoyne WBB Tipping Off D1 in Colorado

The LeMoyne Dolphins Women's Basketball team is embarking on their first season as an NCAA Division 1 program.

This historic season will begin in the state of Colorado in Fort Collins, when the Dolphins visit the Colorado State Rams of the Mountain West Conference (MWC) on Monday, November 6, 2023.

LeMoyne will make the most of this trip to the Midwest as they will remain in Colorado, traveling a little over an hour from Colorado State University to the University of Colorado to face the Buffaloes of the PAC-12 Conference two days later on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Boulder.

The Dolphins head into these first two games at the start of their NCAA Division 1 campaign with head coach Mary Grimes in her third season after leading LeMoyne to back-to-back trips to the NCAA Division II Tournament in her first two seasons at the helm of the program.

Joanna Dobrovosky, a student-athlete alum of the program, enters her third season as an assistant coach for LeMoyne.

Terence Mannion, a volunteer assistant coach, is also in his third season with the program.

Katie Kolinski is the newest addition to the Dolphins women's basketball staff, coming in this season after seven years on the Syracuse Orange Men's Basketball staff, one season with the Buffalo Bulls Women's Basketball Staff, and the last four years as an assistant coach with the Lafayette Leopards Women's Basketball staff.
