New Syracuse OC Jason Beck to Keep QB Coach Role

Article by Dan Tortora

When speaking with Jason Beck ahead of the Pinstripe Bowl, he told me that he will remain the quarterbacks coach at Syracuse University as he moves into his new role overseeing the entire Orange offense as offensive coordinator.

In response to my question, he added that he will look to bring in other people to fill other offensive assistant roles.

So, for starter Garrett Shrader and all other quarterbacks on the roster, they can rest easy knowing what he has taught them will continue as he grabs ahold of the whole offense.

Beck becomes the fifth offensive coordinator under Head Coach Dino Babers' 7+ seasons at Syracuse: Sean Lewis (2016 and 2017), Mike Lynch (2018 and 2019), Sterlin Gilbert (2020), Robert Anae (2021).
