LeMoyne College has decided to erase the temporary tag and hire Callum Donnelly, who spent last season leading the men's soccer as their interim leader, as their official head coach for the future of the program.
The school received more than 65 applications for the men's soccer head-coaching position.
From there, they shrunk the pool to seven semifinalists and four finalists from there.
Donnelly made it past all of the rounds to get the official nod from LeMoyne after both playing on the team as a student-athlete and serving as an assistant under longtime head coach Tom Bonus, who retired from the position prior to the 2023 season.
In his interim campaign, Donnelly led the team to two wins and seven ties, finishing 2-8-7, and the Dolphins men's soccer team became the first-ever LeMoyne program to reach the postseason while the school is an NCAA Division 1 institution, when they attained a spot in the Northeast Conference (NEC) playoffs.
