LeMoyne Women's Basketball Names Co-Acting Head Coaches

Following the departure of head coach Mary Grimes, LeMoyne College Athletics Director Bob Beretta has elevated assistant coaches Katie Kolinski and Joanna Dobrovosky as co-acting head coaches for the Dolphins program in the interim as the school conducts a nationwide search for their next program leader.

Kolinski came to LeMoyne after having spent five seasons as an NCAA Division I assistant coach on the Lafayette Leopards women's basketball staff and, prior to those years, spending one season as an assistant coach on the Buffalo Bulls women's basketball staff, also of the NCAA Division I ranks.

Before going to Buffalo, Kolinski was on the Syracuse Orange men's basketball staff for eight seasons under Hall-of-Fame head coach Jim Boeheim.

Dobrovosky was on the Dolphins' women's basketball staff for all three of Grimes' seasons as the team's head coach, returning to her Alma Mater after graduating in 2018.

She was recruited by Grimes as a student-athlete when Grimes was tasked with coaching the front court under former LeMoyne head coach Gina Castelli.

Together they provide familiar faces and leadership to the current student-athletes on the roster as the program continues to recruit for the 2024-25 campaign.
